Karnali. In Karnali, 94 percent of those infected with the corona virus have returned home after treatment. According to the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Social Development, six percent of the infected are yet to be cured. 

According to the department, 210 swabs have been collected in the last 24 hours in the state and 12 of them have been confirmed to have corona infection. Meanwhile, the number of corona cases in Karnali has reached 7,180, said Nawaraj Kandel, head of the ministry's public health branch.

"Five people from Salyan, three each from Surkhet and Dailekh and one from Rukumpashchim have been confirmed to have corona infection in the last 24 hours," said Chief Kandel. At the same time, the number of people recovering after treatment in the state has reached 6,734, said Kandel.

According to him, PCR tests of 95,014 people have been conducted in Karnali so far. The death toll from the corona outbreak has risen to 22 in Karnali so far, according to the health service.
